Sophie graduated with an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy over a decade ago and has since specialised in Voice Therapy, with a particular interest in Voice Feminisation and Masculinisation.
Her practice has been refined by extensive supervision and specialist training in Transgender Voice, delivered by a leading consultant speech and language therapist. She brings seven years of expert experience in this area, combining her clinical expertise with a compassionate, client-centred approach to help people find a voice that truly reflects who they are.
Sophie has been trained in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) which a Speech Therapy programme aimed at people with Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease and Stroke, to speak louder and more clearly.
Sophie is also trilingual, having been brought up in French and English but having spent many years in Russia. This developed a keen interest in different languages and their phonetic systems and she has been working in accent reduction for the past 5 years.
